**Many modern prescription diabetes drugs (Sulfonylurea drugs) also stimulate insulin secretion from the pancreas. However, these drugs are only effective when beta cells maintain their basic function of insulin secretion. It is also reported that long-term usage of Sulfonylurea drugs cause serious side-effects. Long-term, they cause a decreased amount of insulin production by putting too much strain on the beta cells. Since the body eventually becomes resistant to these drugs, they lose their effectiveness and dosages will continuously need to be increased. On average, after seven years of usage, these agents no longer work and new drugs will then be given. Most type 2 diabetics will then be forced to rely on insulin injections as their beta cells are too damaged to produce any insulin.
Another serious side-effect of Sulfonylurea drugs is that they often over-stimulate the pancreas and produce too much insulin. As insulin removes sugar or glucose from the bloodstream, it can result in hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar. This can be more dangerous than high blood sugar, leading to shakiness, confusion, coma and death. Other complications such as renal disease also exist.

I started Eleotin April 1st, so I've been on it almost 3 months now. I'm not certain of it's effectiveness as of yet because I also started eating mostly low carb and exercising 3-5 times a week at the same time. My blood sugar has greatly improved and is in the normal range as long as I don't slip up and eat a dessert or something high in carbs. I wasn't sure if I wanted to order another round of the Eleotin so I went to my NAET practictioner who used muscle testing to see how my body was liking it. He found that my body was LOVING it. When he tested for the individual components(herbs)contained in it, nothing stood out, but the combination of them all together gave a very positive response. Especially the morning capsule. He was quite surprised because he said that sort of thing (herbs marketed at curing diabetes) are usually not effective. I've gotten very good and accurate information from him over the years so I'm going to continue the Eleotin, and in fact have upped my dose. Oh, and I'm also using EFT daily with The Secret's emphasis. (For example, I say "Thank you for healing my body of diabetes. Thank you for restoring my pancreas to full function. Thank you for reteaching my cels what to do with the glucose that my body needs for energy." while tapping on the prescribed meridian points.) I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in the late 90's. I started taking double doses of Eleotin around June of 2008. At the time, my glucose levels were all over the place, with some of my fasting levels being 206, 186, 181, 161, ect. Before taking Eleotin, my average was around 137. I got results back from my doctor this month and my average is down to 93, with my fasting blood sugar never going over 100 in February (2009). My doctor has already cut my medications and with these results he will be cutting them down further. I am hoping to get off medications altogether.

I have been taking eleotin(P-700) since January 14, 2008, and my blood glucose was around 9.0 mmol/L morning at that time. Since a few weeks, it decreased to 7.2 to 7.4 morning and eat often sugared items to test the results. Almost 4 months has passed and hope that in a few months, the normal range will be reached. Thanks to eleotin and to the person(Emily) who gives directions and advice when sometimes you get discouraged. I was not taking medications, but doctors told me it won't be long before. I would recommend eleotin to persons with high glycemic index and also persons taking medications.

I just wanted to write and tell you how happy I am with your product so far. I began taking Eleotin about a month ago, and my blood sugar has come down almost 100 points. The sugar was really starting to get out of control, running around 250-300 almost every time I tested it. The doctor told me we would have to consider adding a shot of insulin a day if the next A1C is still high. Since starting your product, the highest reading I have had is 188, and the results are usually around 130-150. I had my bloodwork done last Friday, and will get the results this Friday. I'm hoping the A1C number is lower than last time, and my doctor will tell me insulin shots are not necessary. Thanks so much for your product, and God willing, my body will continue to respond to it.
